L.I.F.E. Is like a Game of Football
Its football season and many of you are some what familiar with football so I decided to write a note that discusses the parallels our lives have with football (ENJOY and feel free to SHARE)
L.I.F.E. Is like a game of football.
It is complex and detailed but yet very entertaining.
Each and everyone of our lives are positioned like a quarterback we are all the leaders of our life. We make the decisions and the plays that determines the outcome of our lives (The Game). How we play the (GAME) will reveal whether or not we are rookies or veterans. Read on to see which one are you…
Staying in the pocket…
Staying within our pocket is key in life. The pocket is our safe place where we can see everything. If everything goes well, from that pocket, we can make the right plays. The pocket represents the Word of God, from it, plays are made, from it everything originates. Even with intense pressure if we stay composed and content, when pressure comes we can still deliver. The word of God is our foundation. From it we build our lives. From it we can stand and be confident and even veer off from it (scrambling from the pocket) knowing that the word is hidden in our hearts.
Stay in the Pocket…
(Sacks...)
Sacks are Set backs.
Set backs are just great motivators for a great comeback. Sometimes God allows that one DB to come through to sack us to build Character in our lives. Sacks may hurt for a while, it may set you back, may even cause a huge loss in yards but just because its 4th down and 20 doesn’t mean anything. Satan loves to sack us because it brings us back into yards we have already charted. We are back in the yards we have already conquered. This is where he reminds us of our past and our failures and tries to force us to punt. But just like most of us are in Madden “we never punt” never let satan make you punt your destiny or your dreams away.
Sacks may hurt, sacks may set you back but it doesn’t mean you can not comeback from lost yards…
(Secure the Ball...)
The football is the most important thing on the field. It is the most prized and valuable piece because the ball determines everything. It determines how close youare or how far away you are from scoring. It determines when you score. Without it you fight to get it and when you have it you fight to secure it. The Ball represents our purpose. We determine, on how we handle it, when we will score or how close or how far we are from scoring. We have to secure our purpose (our call), because satan is after to still it, to kill it and to destroy it. If we do not secure it now it will become vulnerable later giving satan an opportunity to run with it and score for himself, using our gifts and talents against us and not for us.
Use your gifts and talents for a purpose that God has already intended it to be used
(Blitz’s...)
In this Christian life their will be pressure but there is no need to panic. Satan will often times call a blitz on your life. It will seem as if all HELL is breaking loose in your life but don’t panic CONFIDENCE always out weighs challenges, and confidence comes from Gods word where everything originates. Blitzes will come but how you handle blitzes will determine how much of a composed quarterback you are.
“Tough times make tough people” What the devil meant for Evil God will turn it around FOR your good…
(Taking a step back before taking a step forward…)
There is a certain way quarterbacks’ maneuver after hiking. We all have seen it. They take two steps (or more) backwards and then one step forward as they pass the ball… this is essential in our everyday lives… before we take one step forward in life we have to take a few steps backwards so we can see everything, positioning us to make the BEST decision. Often times we immediately rush into things without first seeing if its true and of God. We rush into jobs, careers, opportunities, and marriages without first taking a few steps back to see if this is the best decision and the best the decision is Gods initial decision. Taking steps back in everything reveals the real from the fakes. You see both your teammates and your rivals. Seeing everything helps you determine who is true to you and who is fake, giving you time to make the best play…

Forced passes… (throwing off the wrong foot)
Anything forced never returns fixed. Blitz’s are always aimed to make you force passes. Satan loves for you to force things knowing that anything forced will never return fixed but will always cost you. A quarterback has a certain way or technique he positions himself to make a pass. If he throws off the wrong foot the pass will be forced giving satan an opportunity to intercept his passes. Satan aims To intercept your dreams, your goals, and your destiny causing you to be left with failures and disappointments. Never forces anything. Never let people, or anything force you to do anything outside of God’s timing because it will always comeback to you or even pass you to score a touchdown against you.
(Composure)
There is always confidence in composure.
RELAX! Life may be tough and will always be but don’t let it or anything still your composure. God has given us everything we need to remain composed in chaos. The word is our foundation and the Holy Spirit is our guide so we can remain composed even in the most chaotic times. Satan loves for us to be easily rattled and disturbed causing us to force passes and loose yardage because he knows that a fearful person never walks in faith they remain standing in fear or turns and walks away. WE HAVE TO ALWAYS REMAIN COMPOSED because God has given us or is willing to give us a PEACE that passes all understanding able to keep our minds and hearts through Christ Jesus.
God is the Author of Composure not of Confusion “Stay Composed”
(Vision and precision)
A good quarterback has great vision and can place the ball in the hands of his receivers with accuracy.
Without a vision the Bible says the people will perish. If you can not see then stop until you can see clearly. You can not see clearly with out a clear vision. Vision is important without it we will be left confused.
Whatever your eyes are fixed on your energy and efforts will follow. If your eyes are fixed on this world then your energy and efforts will follow the world. If your eyes is fixed on God then your energy and efforts will follow Him. If a DB blocks the vision of the quarterback then there is a good chance the quarterback will force a pass potentially causing an interception. Satan loves to block our vision making it cloudy with the cares and pleasures of this world. He wants you to be caught up on this present life that you loose sight of Eternity.
Don’t let satan block your vision, wipe your eyes an fix them BACK on God
Listening to the coach (experience)
Each of us (quarterbacks) have a coach. It is important that we listen to our coach (GOD) for He hold the plays of our life. The plays that will help us at 1st and 10 and 4th and 30. We sometimes ignore the voice e of our coach and when we do; it cost us. Think to yourself, what were the results of all the times you ignored or straight didn’t listen to God? Were the results good or negative? We have to understand that from God’s Eternal position he can see the WHOLE field of our lives and He knows what plays will help you conquer the yards of your life. Yes their will be sacks and blitz’s but He will deliver you “through” them all.
God knows all and knows exactly how to help you score in life…
HOW YOU PLAY IN PRACTICE YOU WILL PLAY IN THE GAME
LIFE is serious it is nothing to take lightly. It is nothing you play with it is something that is valuable and needs to be taken seriously. One mistake can cost you your life. One decision can cost you in Eternity. Life is Serious.
HOW YOU PLAY IN PRACTICE YOU WILL PLAY IN THE GAME. Your character is everything. What you do behind closed doors will eventually overflow to what you do in front of people. How you operate your life when no one sees is how you will operate your life when everyone is watching. Yes people may not see what you do now but sin has no boundaries and will aim to destroy you in the public‘s eye. Life is fragile and delicate and how you handle it in private can cost you in the game when the lights are on, the cameras rolling and the fans cheering. You don’t want to slip in the GAME due to how you perform in PRACTICE.
Tighten things NOW before they fall a LOOSE later…
FINALE:
Scoring the touchdown…
Football is all about scoring. Either you are scoring or getting scored on the question is which side are you on? Are you scoring in life or is satan scoring on you?
We have to understand that we only have one game(LIFE) and only one opportunity to play it. This life, we live, is the CHAMPIONSHIP game. How we play this game will determine whether we will be celebrating or weeping in ETERNITY!
Today…
Play to fight for every yard
Play to overcome blitzes and to comeback from sacks
Play to throw passes that count and not ones that can be intercepted
Play with a clear vision not one that is clouded
Play under the teaching of the coach (GOD)
Play with composure
But most importantly…
Play to Win for How you play today will determine where you will celebrate tomorrow (ETERNITY)!

Tomorrow Vs. Today
Tomorrow…
There is nothing that cause more anxiety then “Tomorrow”.
We focus so much on it that we bypass what needs our true attention “Today” . we work hard and we focus a lot of our energy on something that is not here yet… Today is the only day we have and we ought to use it to produce a better tomorrow (when it becomes today). This world system that we live in has many of us programmed into pushing and pushing wholeheartedly after of tomorrow’s success that we neglect the necessities of today.We rush and rush out of our homes and into our busy days without acknowledging God or our families.
We set our clocks,
we wake up,
we wash our faces,
we rush downstairs for a quick breakfast,
we rush out of our houses and into our cars running and chasing after a career and a certain lifestyle that many of us will never obtain.
We neglect so much when we focus on tomorrow. What you do today will effect your tomorrow when it becomes today and if we keep on doing the same thing every day how can we expect a different tomorrow. We have to understand that this life is only temporal why live it for ourselves when we can live it for others. Why live it for this earth when we can live it for Eternity.
There is a tomorrow that is coming very soon that many people are not ready for.
There is a tomorrow, when the last hours of your life will begin counting down
There is a tomorrow, when your present life will end and you will be standing face to face with Eternity
There is a tomorrow that will become your today and you may be too busy in YOUR life that when that tomorrow becomes today you will not be ready…
Are you living your life for a better tomorrow here on earth or are you living your life for Eternity…
Why waste your life on something that has a limited amount of time when you could live a life that is investing this time into to impacting and influencing lives for Eternity…
There are two ultimate realities
One: We all will one day die
Two: We all will stand before Jesus to take an account of our lives
No matter what you do we all will have to face these two ultimate realities and my question to you is are you ready “Today”
Because “Tomorrow” is not promised…
Today live your life unto God and let him handle “Tomorrow”…

My heart Screams...
It amazes me on how far we have drifted…
How we have Drifted away from God…
It has been on my heart, to share from my heart, the reality of how we have drifted away from God. We really don’t love Him like we say we do. We really don’t care about His work on this earth. We really don’t care. If we did we would spend more time with Him. If we did we would pray and seek His face. If we did we would abandon all to follow him.
It hurts me this morning to see people that ignore God and ignore His call. It hurts me to see people who blatantly sin but out of their mouths profess to be a Christian.
It hurts me to think about this reality….
That many of you who are reading this note are not truly saved.
Many people on that day will be waiting in the waiting rooms of heaven, looking at Heaven today and what not thinking that they are ok. “Thinking” that they are sure that when they get judged they will hear these loving words of “Well Done” but are unaware that their final destination is Hell…
Look people God is not playing. His words and His commandments are not optional. The Bible says that if you love me you will Keep my commandments. Love will compel you to obey.
Salvation is much more than just a prayer it’s a process.
You are not officially a member of heaven off a prayer alone. Many people have said the prayer but left with darkness still in their hearts. Many people have said a prayer but left with sin still corroding their hearts. Many people have said a prayer due to emotionalism but have no substance of a change of heart…
Are you one of them?
Thinking you are saved and knowing you are saved are totally different…
Thinking leaves room for mistake… When you think, you are not sure… its like when you are looking for your lost keys you “thought” you placed them on the dresser but you are not sure because they are not there…
When you know that you know that you know; you are sure. No one can tell you are not because you KNOW. When you think you are saved you base your salvation off a prayer and based it by how many times you have been baptize but don’t know a hilly beans about the REQUIREMENTS of salvation. You think you are saved but break the requirements . When you know you are saved you know the requirements, you seek to be purged, you seek to be cleansed from ALL not some unrighteousness, you seek to produce the fruits of the spirit and ignore the results of the flesh. You aim to impact, influence and inspire lives, you seek aim to seek after the heart of God….
This is when you know….
My heart scream but only few hear its cry. My heart screams that you love God with all your heart with all your soul and with all your mind. My heart screams that you seek Him to find out who you are to be, To find out your role in life. My heart screams that you abandon all and learn to trust Him.
We are so entangled with the things of this world that when God looks from His eternal scope He sees no difference.
He rather for you to be Hot or Cold; dark or light saved or lost but never in between…
Today think about your salvation are you walking it out with fear or trembling or are you even walking it out at all….
(think about your life today for it is only a vapor)

Account(ability)
Isolation is satans plan for our lives. He wants us to be isolated in our minds and isolated in our lives. Amongst people but isolated within. He wants you alone. He wants you to focus on all the reason why you cant do anything and to ignore all the reasons you can do all things. He wants you so focus on vanity that you negate to recognize your true purpose. He wants you so dependant on the world systems that you forfeit your dreams and your inner ambitions. He wants you without Godly account(ability)
Account(ability) is needed. Without someone to help you, you are left alone to be used and abused by the things of this world. Imagine how many families would be whole today if the husband had accountability over his hormones when he was away from his wife? Imagine how many families would be whole today if the wife had accountability over her emotions to trust her husband and not to have her thoughts running. Imagine where our would be today if parents were accountable to their kids, kids were accountable to their parents, we to our friends and we to society? Where would we be today???
Many people in our world today have been manipulated into thinking they don’t need anybody to help them get to where they are going. They feel they can do this and that by themselves, this may be true, you may accomplish all of your natural dreams and goals but what about your heart, your character? What about those things that mater most to God? I’m not talking about going to church, paying your tithes and being religious but I’m talking about maturing spiritually. Growing in the knowledge of God, growing in reverence of Him, growing into the image of Christ. Going to church and doing all the ritual stuff is overrated because majority of the people that go to church are more faithful to the church than they are to God Himself. We have to understand the importance of spiritual discipline. In order to be eternally effective in this natural world we have to be spiritually disciplined.
Many of our failures are due to a lack of spiritual disciplines…
Think about it
Think about all those times you’ve made a mistake cant you recognize the lack of spiritual discipline?
The times you got caught doing things you shouldn’t wasn’t it due to a lack of spiritual disciplines?
The times where you had a loss instead of a gain, wasn’t it due to a lack of spiritual discipline?
Before we can be “fully” disciplined naturally we must embark to be “fully” disciplined spiritually!
Satan aims to have us so caught up on the things of this world that we loose sight on fulfilling our purpose. He wants us so caught up on having accountability to go to the clubs but not accountability to grow in the church. He wants us so caught up on having accountability to get drunk but not have the accountability to grow in the things of God. He wants us to have accountability to help us fall into sexual, and immoral sin that we fail to have accountability to fulfill our purpose. Subconsciously we heap for ourselves accountability (people with the ability to account for our lives) that help us to sin and not hinder us from sinning. We cling to others through our emotional distress to compensate for our “deprived” heart and we become the blind being led by the blind heading towards a ditch.
Life is no joke and our opposition (satan) is not a comedian; he wants to obliterate your life. He wants you isolated, he wants you alone in your minds he wants your emotions to govern the decisions of your life he wants you dead! Because if you cease to live so does your PURPOSE.

This portion aims to help you build your accountability
Remember these 2 D’s
Disciplined and Dependable
When choosing your accountability you must first ask yourself are they disciplined and are they dependable. You can tell if a person is disciplined through their personal lives. If they are not disciplined in their life what makes you think they can be in yours. If their life is not at arms reach but scattered, distant from their reach then how will the help you pull your life together? They must be disciplined, focused and keen and they must be dependable. Meaning that you are “able” to “depend” on them to account for your life. They also have to be responsible (being able to respond). They have to be able to respond with knowledge and wisdom. If a person responds to anything else outside of this they are responding out of ignorance. Knowledge = experience Wisdom = revelation from God outside of these two = ignorance and ignorance gets no one anywhere.
Tough love:
Many people want to be loved but not to be looooooved. True love derives from tough love for it is only out of tough love a person receives true revelation. Many times we say we love someone but we supply them with things that will kill them. We supply fatback and pork to our family members knowing it is killing them and we say we love them… we give people all types of things knowing they shouldn’t have it but do it any way risking the life of the person we “say” we love.
True love keeps away, true love monitors, true love “makes sure” the person they love endures. It doesn’t matter how much they beg or scream hateful words true love will endure those things knowing that at the end they will be grateful.
When choosing an accountability partner you have to ask your self will they love me or will they loooooove me. Will they “make sure” I do what I need to do to be successful or will they just give me everything I wont “knowing” it is doing me more harm than success…? If a person love you they will endure with you. If they care about you they will make sure you do what needs to be done and not have your life so scattered that you accomplish nothing in your life… you have to see and observe if they have the “ability to account” for your life.
Because no matter who you are you are giving some one the ability to account for your life,. consciously or subconsciously the question is are they dependable, accountable, responsible and disciplined?
Start today!
You can start improving your life today. Before you can be fully disciplined naturally you have to become fully disciplined spiritually. You will not know how to live life if you do not come to know the giver of life. You will not know how to defeat satan until you first become disciplined… the most effective way to defeat satan is through being disciplined and the way to become disciplined is to place things in your life to keep you accountable…
Your purpose hangs on accountability

25 “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27 And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? 28 And why are you anxious about clothing? Anxiety: something that worries somebody: a subject or concern that causes worry
Stress is considered the number one cause of diseases in other words (dis)ease. It is the root cause of many illnesses and pains.
God warns us in His scriptures that we are not to worry about anything or in other words to be anxious, because its out of Anxiety that the body is worn down and falls into fatigue. Satan is the greatest deceiver. He will even deceive the very elect to work, work, work as if, “if you work hard God will reward you even more“… LIE! Jesus says his yoke is easy and His burdens are light… if you spend so much time working and trying to make things happen on your own is that trusting God? You have to really think… does God really want you to work sooooooooooo much if His burdens are easy? In our world today we are programmed that if you don’t work hard then you don’t eat,. When The scripture talks about work its not necessary talking about working a 9 to 5 but rather working effectively in all areas of your life from your personal relationship with God to your relationship with your family etc. now would God bless you with a Job that takes up 40-60 hours of your week keeping you away from Him and from your family which he commands comes first??? God will never and I repeat never give you anything that will jeopardize your health, your family and your relationship with Him NEVER NEVER NEVER… but I know who will…. SATAN. Not everything that glitters comes from God. Most of the things that glitter comes from satan built and aimed to completely wear you down until your body caves in… working hard doesn’t prove you trust God, working effectively does and that is having positive results in your own life, your families life and all other areas…
Many of us say we trust God but never let Him work on anything… we stay up long hours, we work countless hours on our dreams and visions, we build so much anxiousness that when the results of our labor comes our body’s are to tired to enjoy them…
God never intended it for us to work hard, to work long he wanted us to work effectively and efficiently… it is a person that works smarter that works more efficient than someone who works harder…
I just got this revelation like last week LOL, I was the type of person that felt like I got to do this I have to do that, every time I got an Idea I felt like I had to stay up and produce it. So I would spend hours upon hours “working for the Lord” when all actually I was working for satan. I was like a little mouse on a wheel running hard but going no where… see not every Idea is a God idea. We have creative abilities and from our own capabilities we can create great ideas but those ideas might not be from God. In other words not everything that comes to your mind needs your immediate attention as if God wrote on the wall or something… satan loves to have us soooooooooooooooooooooooo B.U.S.Y. (Being Under Satans Yoke) that we work hard doing everything else but what God wants us to do…
My question to you is….
What is it that God wants you to do NOW?
What you are doing now could be something that originated from satan or could be something that God wants you to pull off the shelf later…
what He wants you to do now will benefit you later but doing something he doesn’t want you to do will never benefit you later…
working with out preparation gets you no where…
Planning and preparation is what God wants many of us to do now… planning, while being led by the Holy Spirit, preparing and molding our characters and establishing standards. These things are what we should be working on now.
The Bible says for us not to worry about things or even tomorrow. He tells us to focus on His kingdom and His righteousness.
Things and tomorrow are the two main things why we work so hard. It is rare to hear someone say they are working towards the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, they may say they are but deep down within the corridors of their heart beats the anticipation of getting things (cars, houses, spouse, etc) and tomorrow (career, fame and recognition).
Think hard about what you are spinning the wheel for… we are running this race not for things or for the hopes of tomorrow but for the advancement of Gods kingdom…
He says seek ye FIRST the kingdom of God and His righteousness and the rest will be added. Not the Bentley’s or the mansions but the necessities of life.
Satan loves for our motivations to be monetary successes . This is why his world system is so full of pawns that flaunt diamonds, cars, houses, opportunities and what not, having us say with our mouthS “oh I’m seeking first the kingdom” but that crap camouflages the true intentions of the heart which is money, money and more money.

He clearly says you can not serve two masters, either you will hate one or love the other you can not serve both God and money…
You know what’s so unique about this scripture is that these two are the supreme “providers” one you “trust” to be your “provider” and the other you “use” to provide for yourself… we are either trusting God to provide for us or we are trusting ourselves.
Whose your God??? You or God?
You by worrying or being anxious cant do anything, nothing, zilch for yourself. He even says you cant even add a span or an hour to your own life but when we trust in God we can do everything…
Now I know IT IS HARD TO TRUST GOD I know, it took me 23 years to really trust Him, but I had to realize that I had to renew my mind and understand that he knows what’s best for me. I had to understand that doing anything outside of God’s timing that doesn’t include planning or spiritual development is time being and energy being wasted. Satan loves for us to work work and work to a goal or a target that doesn’t exist. He wants us to spin the wheels like a pet mouse and run hard but end up no where, he wants us BUSY doing everything but what God wants us to do. He wants you weary tired and broken.
Jesus said his yoke is easy and his burdens are light. He wants to direct your paths. God works through patience and faith. The old hymn says He may not come when you want Him but he will be there right on time, He’s an on time God yes He is… this song is so true the reason why he never comes when we want Him is because when we want Him to come it is probably to facilitate our selfishness or pride, such as God can you give me a car, or can you curse this person, or can you bless me with this person or that thing etc. He will only come when faith and patience is at work in our lives. He is only going to come when faith has an opportunity to grow in your life. He is only going to come when he sees that you are patient and content in who he is, who you are and what you have…
Today be anxious for nothing, live life in the arms of God because he knows where to take you. Completely abandon everything and trust in Him… and remember stress and worry kills!

Faith
Faith is substance and faith is evidence.
(my random thoughts)
Faith is a difficult concept to grasp especially in a world that has lost the meaning of it. In our world today we want facts. We want evidence and we want to see proof. If we can not see it with our naked eye or have scientific facts then what is being presented is false and untrue or irrelevant.
What a tragedy….
When we loose sight of the unseen we will become delusional in the seen. When we loose sight of the realness or the presence of those things that are unseen we will become deceived and ignorant in the seen.
I have came across people who believe that there is no such thing as God or faith. They believe that we just “happened” with out an intelligent designer. They build there framework off of a foundation solely on the seen and ignoring the seen that built it. What is ironic about this is that Both believers and non believers have some sense of faith on the unseen…
For instance
Everyone has faith that they will breath their next breath without thinking about it. Majority of our population don’t even give a second thought on where their air is going to come from. But yet they have faith on something unseen…
What about mail? Many people who receive packages or letters have faith that their package is going to come due to the integral statements of the carrier.
Everyone from the heathen to the saved rely on faith…
The Bible says that faith is the “substance” of things a person is “hoping” for and the only “evidence” of things not seen.
When we think of substance we think of something that is tangible. Something I can feel and touch. Something I can see and hold.
Can substance be more than that?
You can feel love but can you hold it? Not the results of love like a hug, a kiss etc, but can you hold the conceptual stages of love (which is unseen)?
Can you with your hands contain or limit air? Can you naturally right now go outside and hold air and restrain all of it? (which is also unseen)
Both of these things and many others are all unseen substances that are evident in our lives today. If we can have faith in love, faith in air and faith in the frameworks of other intangible things then why do we lack “faith” in God?
God is (period)
Someone of great intelligence and supreme abilities created this framework called earth. If you believe other wise then you are liken to a fool without any sense. Even those that are dumb, blind, and lame can still sense that there is someone greater than them. Look outside. Look at the animals and the tress. Look at the human race. Look at your hands your feet, your arms and your eyes. Think about the building blocks that make you from your nervous system to your cardiovascular system. Your digestive to your respiratory? Who designed these things?
Since He said let there be; whatever was be still is TODAY…
Everything that was created is still perfect only being occupied by beings that are imperfect.
The sun still obeys and brings forth light during the day
The moon still obeys and brings forth light for the night
Seeds still bring forth fruits
The earth since the beginning of time still spins on the same access
Everything (without imperfect tampering) still operates perfectly…
My question to you is do you Have “faith” in Him?
Does your life provide a substance that says you hope for Him? Does your life provide evidence that you long for Him that is unseen? Because in Him is everything we desire. Those that delight themselves in the Lord He will give them the desires of their heart… not just any desires… when you delight in Him you want what he wants. You desire solely what he desires nothing more and nothing less… the Bible says in Him we LIVE MOVE and HAVE OUR BEING… it is in Him already that we do everything… we cant live without Him, we cant move with out Him and we can not “be” without him and some of us have the audacity to say HE doesn’t EXIST!!!
If he never lived then how could we live?

When we have faith in something unseen they (people outside) consider us to be fools or people consumed with fantasy. We are people who understand that the unseen dictates what is seen . We understand that their has to be and intelligent designer that built this framework. We understand that if we, in our finite abilities, can build extravagant buildings and paint mind-blowing
masterpiece’s then someone far greater than us designed and created us…
Today don’t waiver in your faith but rather embrace it because when you do you will be embracing HIM….

Wholeness
Wholeness:
All of our lives are like puzzles with scattered pieces. Everyday it seems as if we find a piece to our puzzle but at the same time lose a piece. Many of you reading this book are hurting on the inside. Many of you have been scarred and abused by people countless times, each taking away a piece of your life’s puzzle. I know how you feel. We all may not share the same stories or experiences, but we all share pain. We all know how pain feels, whether it was through molestation, sexual abuse, domestic abuse, child abuse or church abuse. Everyday we aim to put our lives together but cannot find that one piece that will complete this puzzle. We search for it through our relationships, churches, and families. We are looking for the right piece in all the wrong places, when during all that time of searching, the missing piece was steady knocking on our hearts. Jesus Christ is that piece, and he can fill any void in your life. You have to let Him.
A pie that is missing a slice is not considered whole. What about a cake if it is missing a slice? Is it considered a whole cake? In our lives, we are missing pieces, causing us not to be whole. Gods ultimate purpose of our lives is to be whole, lacking nothing. He wants us to be complete, to grow until ripeness and to mature into greatness so that the world will see the work of God through our lives. Self examination and humility is key. When you examine your heart through the leading of the holy spirit, you will see that you have some parts missing. You will notice that you are lacking in some key areas of your life. Self examination will reveal those areas that are missing parts and will compel you to find those parts and to fix the bad ones. Satan wants you incomplete, lacking everything. An incomplete tool never fixed anything. An incomplete remote never changed a channel. An incomplete phone never made a call. An incomplete plane never flew, and an incomplete person rarely fulfils his destiny. Each and every one of us was created with a purpose. And each and every one of our purposes are important, if you do not do what you were created to do, it could affect my life. If I do not do what I was created to do, it could affect your life. What if a lot of the things we need today were never created? What if we did not have medicine, filters, plumbing or eclectic grids? What if those people did not fulfill their purpose? We all affect each other and we all need each other. What if we all allowed God to make us whole lacking nothing. What if we all were faithful and diligent? What if we all were full of love, joy, peace meekness, patience and self control. Do you not think our world would be a better place? Satan wants us to be incomplete to the things of God and whole to the things of the world. He wants us to master the arts and crafts of the world and be dumb and naive to the things of God. If we choose not to humble ourselves and allow patience to perform her perfect work in us, we will never be whole.
Patience is key to becoming whole. A tree does not become whole without patience. A car being parked and getting repaired is doing much more than a car that continues to run without a tune up. Look at nature. Everything is governed by patience.
Everything in nature takes its time to develop so that the ultimate gift, whether it be a fruit or a baby, will grow and fulfill its purpose. When a seed is planted, it is immediately faced with obstacles. It is buried below the surface and faced with extreme pressure. Throughout all this intense pressure, it receives its most important nourishment. It begins to fight through the soil that once had it buried. Motivated to produce the fruit inside of it, it bursts through the soil face to face with light. As it continues to grow, it is faced with more obstacles. It is faced with both of the same elements he fought through and the new elements that lie above. He does not allow it to hinder his focus from bearing the fruit within. Throughout time, the seed begins to grow stronger and stronger, developing into a solid tree. What was once small and frail grew into a solid tree, positioning itself to grow fruit. The tree looks to be doing nothing for a season, but during this time, the tree is doing a lot. For it is growing on the inside. It is preparing the vines that will provide a source for the soon to be fruits. It digs deep into the dirt to gain support against storms and floods. It searches deep for a stream or well so that its source will never run dry, always providing water for the soon to be fruits. As time continues, the tree begins to grow leaves which is the sign of the soon to be fruits. As the leaves begin to grow, the fruit begins to show itself. It grows and grows and grows. It gives off signals that tell those that need the fruits that it is not yet ripe and needs more time. As it is being governed by patience, it gives off its full color, signifying that it is ripe and ready.
Our lives are like seeds being planted. We are buried deep into situations that seem to not be fair. Buried deep into environments not fit in our minds for growth but in all actuality is what is needed for growth. We are buried in this world so that within this world, we can bear forth fruit. God burries us so deep that we begin to feel extreme pressures, pressure from our friends, family, church, job, career and business. We begin to feel the pressure to conform to the world instead of fighting it. God exposes us to pressure to see who is strong and who is weak. He exposes us to pressure to see what seed has the potential to produce a forest. He exposes us to pressure to see who will survive. Many of us are unaware that it is through our toughest times that we receive strength. Without pain, there is no gain. Without obstacle, there will be no opportunities. Are you like the seed? Are you willing to fight through what the world says about you? Are you willing to endure through the pain in order to gain, to endure through the obstacles to obtain the opportunities? Are you willing to climb the stairs to reach for the stars? Only those that endure will be whole. Just like the seed that has to fight through what had it buried, we too have to fight through those things that seem to have us buried and oppressed. Our motivation is in the importance of our fruit: our gifts, talents, abilities and unique qualities. These are what should motivate us to unplug from the world and to grow in God. The more we allow patience to govern our lives, we will begin to grow and to mature in who we ought to be.

8-12
6 to 8 hours of sleep + 6 to 8 hours of school and work = roughly 8 to 12 extra hours… that’s a lot of hours left over.
My question to you is what do you do with these extra hours?
Character, purpose and spiritual disciplines are essential in the development of ones life. These three things sum up the essence of each persons identity. If a person has bad Character and is not disciplined spiritually then he will probably not full fill his purpose. If a person is disciplined spiritually and has a developing Character then he has a good chance of fulfilling his purpose. These three things go hand and glove but they all need to be developed. Now I know we all have to work or go to school and I hope all of you all get at least 6 to 8 hours of sleep but my main concern is what are you doing with those potential 8 to 12 extra hours? Are they being wasted or used wisely?
In those 8 to 12 hours I’m sure includes time for 3 to 5 meals and I’m sure it includes time getting prepared and washed and I’m sure it include time of driving and traveling but that should make up a good 2 extra hours leaving you a solid 6 to 10 hours left in your beginning 24. I hear often times “man, I wish I had more time” what’s funny about this is you have plenty of time but are you using them wisely?
What if you and I were more frugal with our time like some of us with our money. What if we used every minute with a purpose? I wonder how much would really get done and developed in our lives?
Time is the only thing you CAN NOT get back. You can get your money back if you have a receipt even now without one, you can get an ex back if you beg, you can even rededicate your life back to God if you slip but there is one thing you can never get back and that is lost time.
What are your goals what are your dreams? What is it that is burning in your heart to do? Listen You are not waiting on God, God is waiting on you and is considering leaving if you tarry to long, because if you don’t do it or continue to waste time He already has a plan B C D E F G …… ITS UP TO YOU! We have to much time in our day to complain we don’t have any. What about all the successful people with huge corporations and meetings all day and year long tours, they have waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay much more on their schedule than you do and they manage, what’s crazy is they have the same 24 hours as you and I do. So why complain? Complaining takes up time!
Think about it…
What if you spent less time on face book, less time talking on the phone, less time caked up, less time clubin on the weekends, less time eating in the café or at the restaurants what if you spent less time doing things that will not give you a return and invest in your future.
Today calculate the time you are using doing certain things and see how much time is either being wasted or being used wisely. Your purpose hangs in how you effectively use your time. Only time, that is used wisely, will bring a return never time that is wasted.
Analyze your life and see how you are using those extra 8 to 12 hours and from this day on live every minute on purpose, not to be extreme with it, because there is time to chill and relax and kick it with the fam and your peoples but if it interferes with something that is more important like your DESTINY then you have to do what you have to do. Remember God is more concerned about your eternity than your earthly life He wants you disciplined he wants you to live life for a purpose and he wants you to have His Character and these are only developed during time used wisely
Today don’t waste time use it wisely!

The Ability to Respond
Just a thought
Responsibility
A responsibility is something to be responsible for or having the ability to respond to. Something that needs your attention or something that belongs to you. God has given us something that needs our attention more than anything and that is our life. In our world today we have loss sight of how fragile our lives are. We do countless things with out first asking ourselves do we have the ability to respond to these choices? Every action and every choice we make we instantly become responsible for the results of our choices and our actions.
If I choose to have sex I will instantly become responsible for the results of my actions. If I choose to go places and do things that are wrong, if something happens I will be instantly responsible for what happens.
Look at your life…
Analyze your abilities
Right now are you able to handle the results of what you are doing now or to “be able” to handle the choices you are about to make? If you don’t have the ability then don’t do it!
Ability means to “be able” to do something well
Ability doesn’t mean to “be able” to do something average or just ok but it says to be able to do something well…
If you are approached with something and you do not have the ability to do it well then its ok not to respond to it because anything that comes into your life you should aim to do it well.
Marriage:
When someone comes into your life and wants to get married to you, you should ask them do you have the ability to do well by me? Not just finances ladies but does he have the ability to be the spiritual head over the home; to make sure that the home stays accounted to God? Does he have the ability to take care of the “responsibilities” of the home being able to make wise and sound decisions? does he have the ability to exercise self control when he is “around” the opposite sex? Does he have account(ability)?
If not then he doesn’t have the ability to respond to your needs in the context of marriage. Same is for the fellas you have to ask yourself does she have the abilities to be a submissive wife, not in that she is weak but can she help me through my life as a man? Doe she have the ability to give you words of affirmation instead of holding back because she doesn’t want to stroke your ego? Does she have the ability to respect you as a man and not say things to tear you down? The list can go on and on for both but if they do not have the ability to respond to the major needs within the context of marriage then don’t let your emotions propel you into something that neither one of you are able to respond well to.
Both people have to understand that there is going to be two people “sharing” one thing (marriage) and both have to agree and aim to do marriage extremely well if not then please don’t share it… we don’t need any more broken homes!
God:
Our ultimate allegiance is to God. We have to analyze everything in our lives and self examine our hearts to see what is trying to hinder my ultimate responsibilities to God? Often times we forget this area of our lives we think we have God number one but come to find out he isn’t even in our top 10. When we master the things of God and be responsible to him we will begin to be able to respond effectively in everything else in our lives.
Ask yourself Have I been responsible or irresponsible towards him?
We all have the ability to do things well but how many of us are really tapping into doing those things extremely well? every time we are approached with something lets stop and think and not rush in due to “heighten emotions”. Emotions can get you killed but thinking could save your life…
Today think and make responsible choices you have the ability!

Account(ability)
Isolation is satans plan for our lives. He wants us to be isolated in our minds and isolated in our lives. Amongst people but isolated within. He wants you alone. He wants you to focus on all the reason why you cant do anything and to ignore all the reasons you can do all things. He wants you so focus on vanity that you negate to recognize your true purpose. He wants you so dependant on the world systems that you forfeit your dreams and your inner ambitions. He wants you without Godly account(ability)
Account(ability) is needed. Without someone to help you, you are left alone to be used and abused by the things of this world. Imagine how many families would be whole today if the husband had accountability over his hormones when he was away from his wife? Imagine how many families would be whole today if the wife had accountability over her emotions to trust her husband and not to have her thoughts running. Imagine where our would be today if parents were accountable to their kids, kids were accountable to their parents, we to our friends and we to society? Where would we be today???
Many people in our world today have been manipulated into thinking they don’t need anybody to help them get to where they are going. They feel they can do this and that by themselves, this may be true, you may accomplish all of your natural dreams and goals but what about your heart, your character? What about those things that mater most to God? I’m not talking about going to church, paying your tithes and being religious but I’m talking about maturing spiritually. Growing in the knowledge of God, growing in reverence of Him, growing into the image of Christ. Going to church and doing all the ritual stuff is overrated because majority of the people that go to church are more faithful to the church than they are to God Himself. We have to understand the importance of spiritual discipline. In order to be eternally effective in this natural world we have to be spiritually disciplined.
Many of our failures are due to a lack of spiritual disciplines…
Think about it
Think about all those times you’ve made a mistake cant you recognize the lack of spiritual discipline?
The times you got caught doing things you shouldn’t wasn’t it due to a lack of spiritual disciplines?
The times where you had a loss instead of a gain, wasn’t it due to a lack of spiritual discipline?
Before we can be “fully” disciplined naturally we must embark to be “fully” disciplined spiritually!
Satan aims to have us so caught up on the things of this world that we loose sight on fulfilling our purpose. He wants us so caught up on having accountability to go to the clubs but not accountability to grow in the church. He wants us so caught up on having accountability to get drunk but not have the accountability to grow in the things of God. He wants us to have accountability to help us fall into sexual, and immoral sin that we fail to have accountability to fulfill our purpose. Subconsciously we heap for ourselves accountability (people with the ability to account for our lives) that help us to sin and not hinder us from sinning. We cling to others through our emotional distress to compensate for our “deprived” heart and we become the blind being led by the blind heading towards a ditch.
Life is no joke and our opposition (satan) is not a comedian; he wants to obliterate your life. He wants you isolated, he wants you alone in your minds he wants your emotions to govern the decisions of your life he wants you dead! Because if you cease to live so does your PURPOSE.

Remember these 2 D’s
Disciplined and Dependable
When choosing your accountability you must first ask yourself are they disciplined and are they dependable. You can tell if a person is disciplined through their personal lives. If they are not disciplined in their life what makes you think they can be in yours. If their life is not at arms reach but scattered, distant from their reach then how will the help you pull your life together? They must be disciplined, focused and keen and they must be dependable. Meaning that you are “able” to “depend” on them to account for your life. They also have to be responsible (being able to respond). They have to be able to respond with knowledge and wisdom. If a person responds to anything else outside of this they are responding out of ignorance. Knowledge = experience Wisdom = revelation from God outside of these two = ignorance and ignorance gets no one anywhere.
Tough love:
Many people want to be loved but not to be looooooved. True love derives from tough love for it is only out of tough love a person receives true revelation. Many times we say we love someone but we supply them with things that will kill them. We supply fatback and pork to our family members knowing it is killing them and we say we love them… we give people all types of things knowing they shouldn’t have it but do it any way risking the life of the person we “say” we love.
True love keeps away, true love monitors, true love “makes sure” the person they love endures. It doesn’t matter how much they beg or scream hateful words true love will endure those things knowing that at the end they will be grateful.
When choosing an accountability partner you have to ask your self will they love me or will they loooooove me. Will they “make sure” I do what I need to do to be successful or will they just give me everything I wont “knowing” it is doing me more harm than success…? If a person love you they will endure with you. If they care about you they will make sure you do what needs to be done and not have your life so scattered that you accomplish nothing in your life… you have to see and observe if they have the “ability to account” for your life.
Because no matter who you are you are giving some one the ability to account for your life,. consciously or subconsciously the question is are they dependable, accountable, responsible and disciplined?
Start today!
You can start improving your life today. Before you can be fully disciplined naturally you have to become fully disciplined spiritually. You will not know how to live life if you do not come to know the giver of life. You will not know how to defeat satan until you first become disciplined… the most effective way to defeat satan is through being disciplined and the way to become disciplined is to place things in your life to keep you accountable…

healing
Healing happens when habits change…
Habits are regularly repeated behavior pattern: an action or pattern of behavior that is repeated so often that it becomes typical of somebody, although he or she may be unaware of it
I use to always wonder why God allowed good people to die via cancer, diseases, accidents, and murder. I use to wonder why would God allow such diseases to run rampant on the earth killing and destroying peoples lives… I use to wonder all these things until God gave me this quote “Healing Happens When Habits Change”
The root of many peoples illnesses are due to bad and sinful habits and bad and sinful choices. Every choice we make has a result that follows. If we choose to do things poorly we will receive poor results. If we choose to do negative things we will receive negative result. When we regularly make the same type of choices they form into habits. Whether good or bad is determined by the initial choices. If we choose to do things properly and practice good disciplines then we will develop good habits, habits that will sustain life not destroy life.
Healing is a gift from God.
Throughout many of our lives we have been brainwashed into believing that God heals through praying and confessing and through Naming it and claiming it. We have been taught to expect our healing to walk and talk like we are healed. My question is, if this is so true then why are those who do these things dying??? Why do those who name their healing die of cancer? Why do those that claim they are millionaires die broke?
WHY?
Because they never changed their bad habits…
Have you ever read the scripture that says “God’s people perish for a lack of knowledge”?
Its not what you know that will kill you its what you don’t know! What are the things in your life that you are unknowledgeable about. This scripture clearly says that God’s People perish. This scripture doesn’t say that “people” perish but He clearly defines that HIS people perish (die; suffer) due to a lack of knowledge.
Did you know that 95% of Americans are being poisoned every day? Did you not know that the chemicals in your chewing gums, toothpaste, energy drinks, snacks, chips, sodas are full of poison? Remember its not what you know that will kill you but what you don’t know…
We are killing ourselves everyday due to bad habits. Come on people when are we going to be aware of satans devices? He hates humanity and wants all of us to suffer hell on earth and hell in Eternity. He desires to implement into our lives something that will cause us to sin. He packages the sin in an attractive wrapper that will cause us to open it. He brings things into our lives that satisfy our natural appetites. He bring in those things that satisfy our sexual urges and our emotional urges. Once we are satisfied we become hooked to it because if it satisfied it this time then it will satisfy it later. Once we become hooked death begins.
Death is not just an act it’s a process. Death begins when sin is conceived. When sin is in our lives death begins to corrode our minds and our emotions which then leads to the corroding of the body.
We waste countless hours praying and confessing but never acting on what we are confessing or praying. If we do not act on what we are praying and confessing we will never get the intended results that we are confessing and praying about. GOD IS NOT GOING TO HEAL YOU IF YOU ARE STILL DOING THINGS THAT CAUSED THE SICKNESS.
GOD IS NOT GOING TO GIVE YOU A MILLION DOLLARS IF YOU ARE NOT A GOOD STEWARD OVER $10!
WHY would God heal you of heart disease if you are going to go immediately to KFC and order not the grilled but the fried chicken combo?
WHY would God give you the man of your dreams and your hearts desire if you are going to treat him like he is nothing?
WHY would God give you a proverbs 31 wife if you are full of lust and pride?
WHY would God give you money for your business with out a plan?
WHY would God give you anything pure if you are going to use it impurely?
God is just and He is holy he is not going to give you something that you will quickly squander. He will not!
We have the power to cultivate our own healings. When you get a scratch does God come down from heaven an personally sows your wound? When you bruise your knee does God come down and miraculously heal your knee? Our body naturally heals itself due to our immune system that God has already placed inside of us. If he purposed to miraculously heal everyone every time they needed one then he wouldn’t of gave us an immune system. He gave it to us so that we can be at the same time dependant and independent of Him. He wants us to use the wisdom that he said he would freely give, He wants us to apply his word in our lives so that we can live long and effective. He wants us to be whole but the question is do we want to be whole?
Healing starts with us. Look at how Jesus dealt with people. He always referred to their faith and their efforts never His. He always said it was YOUR faith that made you whole. We sometimes view our efforts of faith as being solely praying, believing and confessing. These things are good and serve their purpose but if we do not act on it how will they become evident in our lives. We can hold a door knob all day but if we never turn it, the door will never be open. We can pray until the cows come home, we confess until the whole world hears and we can believe until Jesus comes back but if we are not willing to change our habits and develop new ones we will never see HEALING. Jesus clearly told everyone that were sick or caught in sin, to go and sin no more.
When we sin we bring onto our lives sickness, diseases’ and lack. many times we only think that the BIG sins are sins but we forget that the little foxes spoil the vines, in other words the little sins destroy our lives. The sins of disobedience that occur when we ignore the warnings of the Holy spirit that warn us to eat healthy and to not to go to certain places or hang with certain people. The little sins of worry that cause stress which then causes emotional distress and open the door to addictions. The little sins of coveting, desiring and longing for what others have so we do any and everything to get what they have risking our lives.
God knows the heart. He knows who will change and who will not. He knows who will eventually get it together and who will not. The choices we make today will show up again tomorrow if not tomorrow, the near future. Every choice we make produces a potential habit whether a good one or a bad one is determined by the initial choice. When we choose to do things poorly we cant help but expect a poor outcome if 80% of our choices are negative then the results of our lives will be negative. We can not expect to receive if we refuse to act. Today look at your life. Analyze where you are weak, oppressed, discouraged, confused, or sick? Where in your life are you failing? It may be due to poor choices and poor habits.
Today make new habits; you might just get your healing…

Hell's Log
In hell right now there is a log; a list of records with your name on it. A book that holds a record of your life and the plans to destroy it. Within this book holds a record of what you love to do and a record of what you hate to do. A record of your past and a record of your current pressures.
Everyday we are being followed. Followed by demons that write down everything we do. They follow us observing everything, jotting down information that will help them in their endeavors to completely obliterate our lives.
Have you ever noticed that at a certain time of the day or during a certain time of the week you face a certain test?
Have you ever noticed that during a certain season of your life you encounter something that seems to try and provoke you?
isn’t it odd or weird that during these certain times of your life it seems that something is initiating a plot or operating a plan…
The greatest strategy an army, a team or a person can do is watch and observe their opposition. For it is out of a season of watching an army, team or person can gather information on their opposition’s weaknesses and strengths giving them information that will help in their future attacks. Everyday demons watch our lives observing our levels. Observing how often we pray and how often we develop spiritually. They observe everything plotting their next attack on our lives…
My Question for you is What are they observing about you?
Satan and his demons have been on this earth longer than you and I have X’s100. They know how we react to certain things. They know how to provoke or encourage our hearts to do evil. They know the main lusts that are tailored to us that would be effective in destroying our lives… They know how to increase the pressure in our lives to break that relationship cord that draws us to God. They know these things and many of these things are evident in our lives, even now.
God is omniscience He is the only one that can know the human heart. He is the only one that knows already our motives our intentions and our desires before we do. For he knew us before we were even conceived.
Satan doesn’t have this luxury.
He doesn’t have the ability to know everything of something he didn’t create. His goal is to gain access to what God knows so that he can keep you and I far from the things of God that will nurture and develop our lives…
So what does he do?
He sends his demonic imps to jot down everything we do. They analyze how often we pray. They observe how often we read our Bibles. They focus on how close we are getting to God and once we begin to get close to God they strategically bring things in to our lives to distract us. They aim to grasp the attention of our flesh and our fleshly appetites. They bring things across our eyes to make our eyes dark and only fixed on the things of this world. They attach to us luxuries, gifts, false hopes and ambitions to make us prideful of this life. They do this all to KEEP you and me away from God.
Look at your life and look at the things that are in it…
ask your self who brought these things into YOUR life?
Everything that is present in our lives are sent from one of two places; either they were sent by God or they were strategically sent by satan.
Its simple
Any and everything that comes from God encourages spiritual growth and development.
Any and everything that comes from satan aims to steal your time and energy away from the things of God, keeping you occupied and busy on everything but spiritual growth
Think real hard about where you are in your life right now? Is it growing closer to God or is it drifting away?
Think hard
because even now they are writing…

"the process"
One of the greatest quotes ever known to man is this one, “An eagle has to fly through the storm in order to fly above it”
Pain is a difficult word, a word that is very complex in meaning and in revelation. Pain is not something that any one of us want to face but the pain is necessary for life. Everything from diamonds to an oak tree in order to be what it is today it had to go through a season of pain. It had to go through a season of anguish, agony, stretching, pulling, scrapping, suffering and misery just to stand tall and shine bright.
God in His omniscience understands the human heart and the human mind. He understands the process of life for He is the giver of life. Before he created man he created “the process“. The process of growth and the process of development. The process of stages and the process of progression. When sin entered the heart of man “the process” was already in place to purge the defiled, contaminated, and destructive human heart. In order for us to walk in the newness of life we have to experience “the process”
So What’s the process?
The Children of Israel is a great example;
The Children of Israel was bound in slavery for 400 years under the Pharaoh that knew not their fore father Joseph. Thy were enslaved and force into slavery for 400 years, until God rose up in the midst of them a deliver name Moses. Moses was Hebrew Child but was raised Egyptian. He studied the ways of the Egyptians and was destined to rule over Egypt. One day Moses sees an Egyptian offending a Hebrew man and Moses steps in and smites the Egyptian man killing him. Moses then has to flee Egypt after word goes out about him killing the Egyptian man. Moses flees into the wilderness. While in the Wilderness Moses goes up a mountain and hears a word from God to deliver his enslaved people. Moses goes back to Egypt and demands that pharaoh let God’s people go. After a few plagues Pharaoh lets them go. Moses and the Children of Israel left Egypt to embark on a journey of freedom and promise. They walked a journey that was suppose to take 11 days took them 40 years. During this 40 year process God took great care of them but also dealt firmly with them. On the edge of the promise land only some of the beginning 2 million people made it in the promise land due to their unwillingness to be grateful and their plea of commitment to Egypt.
Ok lets see how this applies to us…
Egypt:
Egypt represents our enslavement to sin. It represents those things that reside deep with in our hearts. It represents our lust, our pride, and our un forgiveness, it represents all those hidden sins that lie with in our hearts. All these things cause us deep pain because we know deep down how much our enslavements to our sins hurts the heart of God. Since the garden we have had a barrier between us and God. At one time we were eternally separated from Him, Until Jesus Christ died on the Cross and HE closed that barrier giving us a path to God. This path is a narrow one and only few shall find it. On this path is full of testing and full of obstacles, full of raging armies that follow, red seas, and Jordan rivers. A path that requires the turning away from our old Egyptian ways. In order to walk out of Egypt we have to be willing to walk the path…
This Path represents the Wilderness…
I know many of you heard the saying that you can take a person out the hood but it’s hard to take the hood out of them the same is for us. It is easy for God to take us out of our sinful environments but it takes a lot for Him to purge the sin out of us…
The wilderness represents “the process”.
Whenever you see the number 40 in the Bible it represents a season of testing. In many cases the season of testing wasn’t necessary 40 days or 40 years but the number itself represents a “season of testing” just like the number 7 represents completion… We all (who are saved) will go through a season of testing, a season of pain and a season of struggle. Many people feel as if you are a “Christians” you shouldn’t go through anything they feel as if “Christianity” is a some type of country club. If many of us would read our Bibles we would Cleary see that the Christian life is full of Testing and Trials. Do you think Jesus, that went through so much Pain to PROVE His love for us wouldn’t allow you and me to go through testing to PROVE our love for Him? Love is Painful and LOVE has to be PROVEN. Pain produces; it never reduces. When we go through pain we grow. I know each and everyone of you have a “TESTimony” of how you went THROUGH something difficult but came out stronger… you cant have a testimony with out a TEST!
Pain hurts but it produces results. In order to get to the promised land we have to go through “the process“. Before Gold is gold it has to be put through fire. Before diamonds are diamonds, coal has to be crushed. Before we can have olive oil the olive has to be squeezed. And before we can be holy we have to be purged…
We have been taught by so many false prophets that this life is all about prosperity and promise and has nothing to do with pain. We have been brainwashed in believing that those that go through things have sinned before God and are being judged when all in all these are probably the true Christians. Never look at your situation as PAIN (only) look at it as PAIN that leads to a promise. We all go though things and God knows them but before you and I can fly over the storms of life we have to fly through them.
During your “process” don’t complain or give up; walk boldly through them. For at the end of this “life” journey is something far greater than what this present life has to offer. don’t give up because its tough but fight through because its worth it! These light afflictions are only for a moment and they can not compare to what God has for you over there…
